The Prince of Darkness took the stage at 7:45 p.m. and received a warm reception in Anaheim, California performing the closing show on Saturday night's Heavy-Metal-Palooza, BlizzCon. Ozzy Osbourne was the headline act opening his set with “Bark at the Moon” and proceeded to bare his soul with memorable hits like "War Pigs," "Iron Man," "Paranoid," and "Crazy Train".
Blizzard Entertainment wanted Ozzy Osbourne to close BlizzCon because they felt it fitting with Blizzard’s Warcraft commercial highlighting an argument of who was the “True” “Princess of Darkness.” Ozzy gave them what they wanted and then surpassed any expectations with a loud, ear deafening performance in which one or two women even threw their panties upon the stage. It did appear he may have had trouble with the lyrics of “Iron Man,” but put on an excellent show with firehose antics to cool down the August 24th crowd.
