The Squier Bullet for Beginners

By Dennis David

The Squier Bullet Stratocaster is a great guitar for beginners and school age children because of the purchase price, which makes it a great first choice for beginning guitar players that may not continue in their music endeavors.
The Squier Bullet is an excellent choice for young players with its lightweight body and comfortable C-shaped neck, which will feel comfortable in small hands. It comes equipped with light strings that are easy on young fingers without calluses. The neck is medium scale at 25.5" and has small frets. The Bullet guitar has great playability, making it superb for youngsters at the beginning of their musical journeys; and is even great for older more experienced players at small gigs and all-around jamming sessions.

The Squier Bullet Stratocaster is built with tone-woods like basswood bodies, maple necks, and rosewood fretboards. The guitar has a volume and two tone controls for the neck and bridge pickups, and a 5-way pickup selector switch.
There are three Squier Bullet guitars in the series: a Bullet Stratocaster, a Bullet Stratocaster HT HSS, and a Bullet Mustang HH. The pros of the guitars are a great bundled price, great tone, the guitar stays in tune, and the guitar is lightweight and small, and comfortable to play. The negatives are the electronics may be inexpensive and buzz, the finish may not be the best, and the guitars with tremolos may be difficult to keep in tune.
