1982 Fender Bullet S-2 Stratocaster Made in USA

A vintage 1982 ivory solid body 6-string Fender Bullet S-2 with maple fretboard, made by Fender Craftsmanship in Fullerton, California. The S-2 Bullet has 3-way switching, a single ply pickguard, and volume and tone controls.

The S-2 was marketed as a Deluxe version and had a white plastic 3-ply pickguard with a separate hardtail bridge. In 1983 Fender moved from a 3-ply to a single-ply white pickguard, both versions were embossed with S-2 on the lower horn. The S-2 had two single coil pickups & a 3-way switch.

The popular second version Bullet was available in red, ivory, brown sunburst, or walnut; black was available but never marketed.

The double cutaway guitar is equipped with a bridge with strings running through the back of the body.

1980s made in USA Fender molded ABS hard shell case.

The bolt-on guitar neck has a 25.5 scale length. The S-2 was featured in the music video for Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It." Production of the USA made Bullet guitars ended in 1983.

The Bullets in 1983 had sealed Fender tuners, once the supply of F-style tuners ran out in 1982.

All Bullet Headstock decals show the words Fender Bullet and have a silver star with the number 1 inside the star.
