This image is the unfinished Strat style HSS Paulownia wood body, without body curves, purchased on eBay for $70 USD. The pencil lines indicate where the body will be coarse-cut with a wood rasp to create body curves to give the guitar body a more comfortable feel against the right-arm, chest, and abdomen.

Paulownia is a very lightweight, fast-growing, straight fine-grained, and warp-resistant hardwood. Here the guitar body was stained "black" with vibrant eco-friendly Keda Dye-brand stain from Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
x
Here the guitar body was sanded to remove the bulk of the "black" stain in preparation for being stained with a mixture of Keda blue and yellow dye to make a "dark green" dye color. Paulownia wood was named in honor of Anna Pavlovna, queen consort of The Netherlands (1795-1865), which is why it is also called "Princess Tree". Paulownia wood was introduced to North America in 1844, and fossilized leaves have been found in Tertiary strata in Ellensburg Canyon, Washington state.

The Fender Aerodyne Stratocaster neck was made in the FujiGen Factory Matsumoto City Nagano Prefecture, Japan in 2004-2005. The 25.5 Inches scale-length C shaped, bolt-on maple neck has a rosewood fretboard, 12-inch radius, twenty-two nickel silver medium jumbo frets and a 1-11/16-inch Synthetic Bone nut.

The back of the "Green Machine" after being dyed a vibrant "dark green" with Kluson tuners, a Fender "F" neck plate, chrome locking Kluson strap buttons, and chrome Kluson string ferrules.

A close-up view of the guitar's back shows the dark green body with black wood grain highlights showing through the green dye.
